How to upgrade inosilicon firmware to the latest OS version?

This version of Inosilicon firmware update helps to improve the stability and optimization of hashrate miner. So it is recommended to update it. This version has optimized the upgrade process and the operation of the miner is also more convenient.

Important points:

1. Please use the new version of InnoMonitor v1.0.4_special tool bulk for bulk upgrade. During the upgrade process and within 15 minutes after the operation is successful, it is strictly forbidden to perform any operation on the mining device, including shutdown, network disconnection, mining, etc. Otherwise, it will cause physical damage to the power supply.

2. Mass miner upgrade firmware should be checked and verified frequently. The Mass Upgrade software column for the miner will show the version number. If the version of miner operating system is still old version after upgrade, it means that the miner has not been updated successfully. Miners are upgraded again, until it is confirmed that each one has been successfully updated. There should be no interruptions or interference during the upgrade.

3. You should update miners gradually: First, update a number of miners, and after viewing, perform a mass upgrade.

4. After the firmware upgrade is successful, wait 2 hours for the hash rate to reach the optimal value.

1. Please check which firmware the miner needs to upgrade:

If the power supply manufacturer is QB or HK miner, upgrade B OS directly.

A miner whose power supply manufacturer is GP must first verify the power supply version. If the power supply version is lower than 12.66, upgrade firmware A. If the power supply version is equal to or higher than 12.66, please upgrade to OS B. It is strictly forbidden to perform any operations on the mining machine within 15 minutes after the upgrade is successful, including shutdown, network disconnection, mining, etc. Otherwise, it will cause physical damage to the power supply.

Use Mass Management Tool V1.0.8 to scan miners:

Download and run Innomonitor. Bring three important information “PSU Manufacturer”, “PSU Version” and “PSU Error”.

Follow the instructions in the figure below to configure the IP range and then scan the miner:

2. Use mass management tool to update innosilicon firmware:

1. Use crowd management tools to promote miners.

Attention: Do not perform any operations on the miner for 15 minutes after firmware A is successfully upgraded to upgrade the power supply.

2. Check again if the miner is updated to the latest firmware, if not, please upgrade the miner again.

3. Check the “Reboot“ option, use the bulk management tool to select the operation mode, and then click “Apply“ to change the operation mode as shown below:

4. After performing all the above operations, the maximum hash rate miner can continue for two hours in a stable manner.
