How to upgrade Avalon Miner firmware?
If the miner can’t mine properly, or sometimes it doesn’t give you a normal hash rate, you can update the firmware and then restart the miner to solve the problem. Otherwise, if the miner is working properly, updating the miner firmware is not recommended.

Please follow the instructions below to install and use. Do not change or replace miner equipment and parts by yourself. Otherwise, you may damage the equipment or cause safety accidents.
1. How to check the firmware (operating system) version?
1) Check the firmware version through the miner console.
Log in to your miner console, click on the Overview option in the left column. Now you can see the marked firmware version number.
2) Check Avalon miner firmware version through FMS software.
Check if the Miner OS version is the latest version or not?
Suppose the miner firmware is not the latest version. In this case, it is recommended to find your miner firmware through the links above and choose the latest version of the operating system compatible with your miner to download.

2. How to upgrade the firmware to the new version?
1) Use the miner console to update the miner firmware.
After downloading the firmware, we select the corresponding IP miner that needs to be upgraded in FMS.
Go back to the miner console.
Click on the Upgrade option to enter the upgrade page.
Click on the Browse option. Select the firmware you want to upgrade and click Upload to start the upgrade, as shown in the image below.
There will be a progress bar during the update process. After the update is complete, restart the miner again.
2) Use FMS to upgrade firmware in batches.
If you need to upgrade the firmware in batches, you can directly select the models and the number to be upgraded in the FMS system.
Select the Avalon miner firmware of the relevant model and upgrade it.
After the update is complete, if all upgrades are successful, “All upgrades were successful” will appear.
3. Login page introducing important parameters of Avalon Miner firmware
When the miner is working normally, we should pay attention to the LOG page to know if any parameter is normal or not. The basic parameters of the LOG page are shown in the picture below.
Elapsed: Miner’s total working time (unit: 1 second)
Ver: Miner operating system version number
DNA: Globally unique identifier of the miner
NETFAIL: Disconnection time from the mining pool and connection recovery time after connecting to the mining pool
SYSTEMSTATU: The current state of the system, including the working state and the number of working hash boards.
PS: Power status
GHSmm: Theoretical hash value, in GH/s
GHSavg: Average hash value
